Walt Disney World has 25 different types of hotels rooms, depending on your budget and family size.
I covered the value prices hotels in my previous blog.
This blog will cover the moderate priced hotels:
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort (3 star resort) – Resort refurbished in 2015
200 acres with six villages, located on Barefoot Bay. Located 2 miles from Hollywood Studios. 2,112 guest rooms that are 314 square feet. Each room has two queen mattress and a fold down murphy bed.
There is a small refrigerator in the room
There are 7 pool, one located in each village and a larger one with a 102 foot waterslide, sandy beaches, nightly campfires. When going to the pool, you will need to bring your own towels, many times there are no towels available at the pool.
The hotel offers Pirate themed rooms for about $40- $60 more a night. The rooms are located in the south part of the property and are furthest from the main building
The hotel has one full service restaurant and a food court. The full service restaurant is open from 5 pm until 10 pm for dinner only
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort
Disney's Coronado Springs resort is unique in that it is the only one of Disney's moderate category resorts to feature a convention center.
The 1921 guest rooms and suites are dispersed amongst three villages that surround a 15 acre man-made lake.
The rooms at Coronado Springs were refurbished in 2009 and are among the nicest of any of the moderate resorts.
There is a food court and a sit down restaurant at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Located in the Main Building, El Centro, the Pepper Market Food Court is an interesting alternative to the typical food court
The full service restaurant, the Maya Grill, offers Central Mexican and American Southwestern cuisine
The Dig Site is the main pool area at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and is themed to represent the important find of a Mayan kingdom during an archaeological dig. Here you will find a sand volleyball court, an arcade, a poolside bar, an enormous hot tub, a playground (looks like an archaeological dig site) and a large pool!
There is also a children's pool here. Pool towels are available at the Dig Site. There are 3 quiet pools, one at each of the village areas, but guests must bring their room towels here as pool towels are not offered. Lifeguards are found at the main pool, but not at the quiet pools.
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter
There are seven buildings housing the resort's 1008 rooms
The food court at Port Orleans French Quarter is called "Sassagoula Float Works"
A sea serpent water slide and a water spouting alligator band are both found at the main pool, the Doubloon Lagoon, at Port Orleans French Quarter
Water launch service is available to Downtown Disney Marketplace/West Side from the marina.
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside (previous name Dixie Landings)

This massive resort is divided into two distinct sections - Magnolia Bend and Alligator Bayou. Magnolia Bend consists of four - two and three story plantation-style mansions. Alligator Bayou complex has 16 two story rustic, Cajun-style buildings. The resort has 2048 rooms spread over nearly 200 acres of land.

The food court is called Riverside Mill, and while similar to what is offered at Port Orleans French Quarter. This resort also has a full service restaurant, Boatwrights.

There are a total of 6 pools at Port Orleans Riverside, with the main pool located on Ol' Man Island. The pools main feature is the 95 foot water slide. The main pool is themed to resemble an old fashioned swimming hole - with water falling from various 'old' wooden structures. There is a separate kiddie pool and a hot tub located here as well.

The remaining 5 quiet pools' are located throughout the property (two pools located in the Magnolia Bend section and three located in the Alligator Bayou section). These pools are open 24 hours a day and do not have lifeguards on duty
Horse Drawn Carriage Rides - The Horse Drawn Carriage ride is a great way to see the property at night. 25 minute horse drawn carriage rides around the resort are available nightly from 6:00pm to 9:30pm

Water launch service is available to Downtown Disney Marketplace/West Side from the marina.

For the record the West depot was the first stop to the parks so you always have a seat. If you pick up the bus at the main complex, there are 3 stops prior so the bus will be packed by the time you get on.
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort
Disneys Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is the only campground thats right in the middle of the Walt Disney World Resort magic and fun. Nestled into 740 acres of woodlands, Wilderness Cabins and campsites for tents and RVs are the perfect combination of the great outdoors and the comforts of home.
Excellent for large parties, Wilderness Cabins feature such amenities as a living room, full bathroom, private patio, charcoal grill and fully equipped kitchen. The Cabins are spacious enough to comfortably sleep 6 adults, and Housekeeping even does your dishes! Pick up groceries and supplies from the Trading Posts, and rent a golf cart or bike to zip around the Resort with ease.
Barrels of water-filled fun, Meadow Swimmin’ Pool features a corkscrew waterslide, whirlpool spa and kiddie pool. Young cowpokes can even cool off in the fort-themed water play area with tot-friendly slides.
