Hollywood Studios (Formally MGM Studios)

Walt Disney World Hollywood Studios, formally known as MGM Studios has had many attraction closure through the parks history. Here are a few pictures of what used to be in the park.

Lights, Motor, Action Extreme Stunt Show on the studio backlot. This show originated at Disneyland Paris. It opened May 5, 2005 and closed April 3, 2016.

The backlot tour had changed over the years, but there were many famous movie props you could find on some of the tours.

The first stop was the famous catastrophe canyon movie set. The tram would move into the set and then the scene would start.

Here is what you see. Look harmless.

Then all of a sudden the director called action and all this water starts to run straight for you. It was always a fun to see, no matter how many times you had been on the ride.

Props from some of the movie sets, here are Pirates of the Caribbean props.

Here are a set of VW bugs that are split in half. They were used for the Light, Motor, Action Stunt show. During the show, the scene had the cars split in half, what you don't see are the 4 wheels on the car.

This was Walt Disney's plane, the one he used when searching for land to build his second park in Florida. Now called Walt Disney World.

This was a sign leading into the Walt Disney Imagineering trailer area.
